Job Description

Job Title: Assemblies Analyst

Reports To: Records Manager

Department: QC Records

Shift: Full Time - 1st Shift


Responsible for the administration of Aircraft Records in accordance with company policies and FAA standards.
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Audit all maintenance documentation to ensure all maintenance performed is documented and recorded completely and correctly.
  • Provide constant monitoring of all required airframes, engine, and component inspection requirements.
  • Ensures all fitted components are tracking, and if time controlled are forecasted due when required as per Kalitta Air’s CAMP.
  • Ensure accountability, correctness, and completeness of all legal documents pertaining to aircraft, engine, and component maintenance.
     

Supervisory Responsibilities: 
 This job has no supervisory responsibilities. 


Qualifications:

  • FAA Mechanic Airframe and Powerplant licenses desired, but not required
  • Excellent skill level with maintenance documentation.
  • Must have a good working knowledge of computers.
  • Must have a good working knowledge of how to use maintenance software systems. 
  • Must have a basic understanding of how to use maintenance manuals. 
     

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Have at least 2 years’ experience in auditing documentation, required.
  • Have used maintenance tracking systems, desired, preferably AMOS. 
  • Have at least 2 years’ experience in 14 CFR Part 121 air carrier maintenance or operations, desired.
     

Language Skills:

Ability to read, write and understand spoken and written English.


Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using a calculator.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use a computer terminal, telephone and 10-key calculator. The employee is required to stand, walk, climb/descend stairs and maintenance stands, and be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
