Waterpark Lead Lifeguard 

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Waterpark Lead LifeguardIn this role, you will be responsible for the safety of guests and associates in all pool and attractions in the indoor and outdoor waterpark areas. 

As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’ll ensure that all guests feel welcome and safe and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Applying knowledge of life-saving skills and first aid to any guest in need  
  • Lead lifeguards will assist managers with overall operations, supervision of the waterpark associates, cleanliness and sanitation, and providing beyond expectations guest experience.  
  • Responsible for the safety of guests/associates in all pools, hot tubs, slides, attractions, and interactive features in the indoor and outdoor waterpark area  
  • Walk entire waterpark floor throughout shifts checking on safety concerns, guest satisfactions and lifeguard performances. 
  • Prepare all required paperwork, including forms and reports in an organized and timely manner. 

 

What We’re Looking For 

  • Starguard Lifeguard Instructor certification in waterpark/special facilities required.   
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a waterpark role preferred   
  • A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.
