Medical Assistant II

Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Physician, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant. Performs basic patient care procedures and clerical duties in a medical office or clinic setting. Administers injections, draws blood, provides wound care, and performs EKGs. Schedules patient appointments, checks patients in and out, and handles basic billing and insurance inquiries. Ensures exam rooms are stocked and maintained.
