About the role

Serving greater Bay Area, 75% of time will be spent onsite at medical centers primarily and at times at remote clinics. This Assoc. IT Engineer role serves as the technical expert for Environmental Monitoring and RTLS Asset Tracking technologies, supporting clinical and operations end users and administrators at KP Medical Centers in the Greater Bay Area in Northern California. The role requires understanding the application, infrastructure, and hardware endpoints to ensure clinical workflows are compliant, high quality, efficient, and helpful to end users. The role requires a mix of customer service, technical skills, troubleshooting and being able to work independently prioritizing many different requests from many different locations. The goal of the role is to make sure the KP Medical Centers are successfully using the systems, deriving benefits, and helping end users become more knowledgeable and as independent as practical so they can run the systems successfully on a day-to-day basis. The role receives support from the KPIT product and server teams, along with requesting and receiving support from technology vendors on technical support, best practices, training, and occasionally feature-related optimization issues. This individual contributor is primarily responsible for assisting in the translation of business requirements and functional specifications into software solutions, assisting in the implementation and maintenance of business software solutions, and supporting systems integration testing and user acceptance testing.
