We are seeking individuals who have worked in an industrial/service/sales environment to fill the position of Network Administrator for our Cypress Location.


Job Description

The selected candidate will have responsibilities to include:

    Implementation, maintenance, and enforcement of the Kaeser Computer Security Policy.

    Provide network administration and helpdesk support for all employees.

    Maintain hardware inventories and coordinate new equipment orders and equipment exchanges and assist in the negotiation of prices for the purchases of these items when needed.

    Configure and install computers and network equipment

    Coordinate server and computer equipment deployments and exchanges for branch offices and the Fredericksburg office

    Maintain and troubleshoot network, computer, and WAN connections for Fredericksburg and our branch offices.

    Support and provide administration for other office equipment including copiers, mail machines, printers, multifunction machines, and cell phones.

    Be responsible for administration of maintenance contracts on computers, servers, printers, copiers & other office equipment.

    Create and maintain network systems support information, guidelines, policies, and FAQ’s.

    Be responsible for investigating, recommending, purchasing, and implementing technical solutions for projects.

    Responsible for creating and teaching in-house user training classes on supported software.

    Must be available to work outside of normal business hours when needed and must be able to travel to other offices for support as necessary.


Required Qualifications

The successful candidate’s background will include: 

    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

    2+  years of experience in a network administration role

    Proficiency with Google Workspace (G-Suite) and Microsoft Windows

    Previous experience with HP & Cisco routers and switches preferred

    Strong troubleshooting skills

    Strong interpersonal skills to assist non-technical individuals with technical issues

    Strong organizational skills 

    Good communication skills/phone skills required

    SAP experience preferred

    Regular physical attendance at the worksite
