Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Social Science subjects such as History, Geography, Civics, and Economics.
Create a supportive and positive classroom environment conducive to learning and discipline.
Use a variety of instructional strategies and resources to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and examinations.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and behavior.
Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and improvement.
Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development sessions as required.
Uphold school policies and procedures regarding student conduct and academic integrity.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Social Science or related field.
B.Ed. in Social Science or equivalent teaching certification.
Proven experience teaching Social Science subjects at the secondary level (grades 6-10).
Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Passion for teaching and commitment to student success.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Familiarity with modern teaching tools and educational technology is a plus.
