About the role
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. SAP Data Management
- Create and process Purchase Requisitions (PRs), Purchase Orders (POs), Service Entry Sheets (SES), GRNs, and issue entries in SAP.
- Maintain material masters, vendor details, and work orders in the SAP system as per company standards.
- Ensure correct cost centers, WBS codes, project codes, and GST details are captured in all SAP transactions.
2. Material & Inventory Control
- Record inward and outward movement of materials at site in SAP.
- Match delivery challans, invoices, and GRNs with SAP entries.
- Track material consumption against BOQs and raise alerts for shortages or excesses.
- Support periodic physical stock verification and reconciliation.
3. Contractor Billing & Documentation
- Assist in processing contractor RA bills and service entries in SAP.
- Coordinate with site engineers and commercial team for quantity confirmations and approvals.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and internal reviews.
4. Coordination & Support
- Coordinate with procurement, commercial, finance, stores, and site execution teams for smooth SAP transactions.
- Follow up on pending SAP approvals, payment status, and discrepancy resolutions.
- Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities at site.
5. Reporting & Compliance
- Generate SAP reports related to materials, consumption, vendor balances, and billing status.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, internal controls, and audit requirements.
- Maintain structured filing (physical and digital) of SAP-related documents.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Working knowledge of SAP (MM / PM / FICO modules – as applicable)
- Familiarity with construction and residential project terminology
- Strong data accuracy and documentation skills
- Good coordination and communication abilities
- Basic understanding of GST and construction billing
Qualification
- Graduate in Commerce / Engineering / Management
(Diploma holders with relevant experience may also be considered)
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience as an SAP Operator / SAP Executive
- Prior experience in real estate, construction, or infrastructure projects preferred
- Exposure to site‑based SAP operations is mandatory
