Vice President, Analytics

We're looking for a VP of Analytics to lead our Analytics team and drive strategic insights that will advance our business. In this role, you'll be responsible for building and scaling the analytics function, leveraging data to uncover insights that inform business decisions, and partnering cross-functionally to ensure those insights are actioned. As the VP of Analytics, you'll be a strategic thought partner to the executive team, translating complex data into actionable plans. You'll also lead a talented team of analysts, providing coaching and mentorship to help them grow. Key Responsibilities: - Build and scale the Analytics function, defining the analytics strategy and roadmap - Leverage data and analytics to uncover key insights that drive business decision-making - Partner cross-functionally to ensure data-driven decision making is embedded across the organization - Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing Analytics team - Stay on top of industry trends and best practices to continuously elevate the Analytics function - Collaborate with engineering and product teams to develop and implement analytics tools and processes - Present analyses and recommendations to executives and other stakeholders Required Qualifications: - 10+ years of progressive experience in data and analytics roles, ideally including experience leading an analytics function - Expertise in SQL, data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI), and statistical analysis - Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to dive into data, uncover insights, and translate them into actionable plans - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives - Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing analytics teams - Experience working in a SaaS, e-commerce, or consumer technology environment is preferred
