Office and HR Assistant

Job Summary

The HR team is looking for an Office and HR Assistant to join the Just Salad team. You will balance your responsibilities between maintaining our office and assisting the HR team with various assignments and projects. You will also be responsible for upholding Just Salad's mission to make everyday health and sustainability possible.

This role is perfect for someone who can demonstrate a high level of discretion, is detail oriented, a team player, and not afraid to roll up their sleeves.

This position will be onsite in the NYC office.

Office Responsibilities

• Ordering snacks and supplies for the office- ensuring it is always stocked.
• Greeting guests in a professional manner.
• Distributing mail
• Overall maintenance of office and conference rooms.
• Setting up employees with keys/badges
• Assisting with any office related requests/concerns
• Assist with company and office events (happy hours, volunteer events, holiday party, etc.).
• Ad hoc office projects
  
  

HR Responsibilities

• Onboarding new hires in ADP. Update/cross-reference in Harri with new hire information.
• Assist with updating pay and position changes and promotions.
• Answering emails from employees in a timely manner regarding their ESS (Ex. Password resets, registration emails, etc).
• Run weekly audits to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with stores to ensure all legally required postings are up to date and ordered as needed.
• Assist in updating Harri with minor compliance set up (rules, calendars, documentation) and cost centers.
• Assist with end of year projects.
• Attract, retain, recruit, and collaborate with employees who can uphold our ESG goals.
• Ad hoc HR projects

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Flexibility is a must!
• Ability to show a high level of discretion.
• Ability to handle high volume/fast pace environment
