Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Study Abroad Counselor based in New Delhi. The Junior Study Abroad Counselor will guide students through the admission process, providing personalized counseling to help them select suitable programs at German universities. They will assist with application submissions, visa documentation preparation, and conduct informational sessions about studying in Germany. Collaboration with internal teams, maintaining communication with students and parents, and resolving their concerns will be key responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students and parents
- Knowledge of the German education system, including admission and visa processes
- Proficiency in counseling, advising, and mentoring students
- Organizational and time management skills to efficiently handle multiple applications
- Proficiency with basic office software and tools (e.g., MS Office, CRMs) for managing documents and student data
- Ability to work in a team, problem-solve, and handle responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; additional certifications in counseling or education-related fields are advantageous
- Prior experience in education consultancy or student counseling is a plus
