Junior Writer/ Copywriter

About the Role:
We’re looking for a Junior Writer / Copywriter to join Ronin Labs’ creative team and work closely with the Creative Lead on Meta-first content, social campaigns, and brand storytelling. This role is ideal for someone who thinks in hooks, understands how copy and visuals work together, and can move fluidly between short-form performance content and longer brand narratives.
You will collaborate daily with designers and art partners to crack ideas, sharpen scripts, and execute high-impact digital creative.
What You’ll Do
- Write copy for Reels, short-form videos, and Meta-first scripts
- Contribute to ideation for social media content and brand campaigns
- Develop on-screen text, hooks, VO scripts, captions, and longer copy when required
- Work closely with designers and art partners to build visually strong, idea-led creatives using references
- Participate in campaign ideation, from early concepts to final execution
- Review, refine, and copy-check creative outputs before delivery
- Support Creative Lead in shaping narratives across multiple digital formats
- Be client-facing when required, confidently articulating ideas and copy rationale
What We're Looking For
- 2–4 years of experience as a writer / copywriter in a creative agency or in-house creative team
- Educational background in media, advertising, journalism, copywriting, or a formal writing course
- Strong command over written and spoken English
- Ability to write both short-form performance copy and longer, structured content
- Clear understanding of social media platforms, especially Meta
- Maintain active trend listening across social platforms, identifying emerging storytelling styles, creator formats, and audience shifts, and translating them into brand-relevant content.
- Comfortable collaborating with designers and cracking ideas together
- Sharp eye for detail—grammar, tone, consistency, and polish matter
- Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-moving creative environment
