Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Warehouse Manager role based in Panvel. The Junior Warehouse Manager will support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching food products, while maintaining accurate inventory records. The role involves monitoring stock levels, coordinating with logistics and production teams, and ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and documentation. The Junior Warehouse Manager will help maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with food handling standards, as well as assist in supervising warehouse staff and optimizing workflows. The position also includes reporting on warehouse performance, identifying operational issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Ability to manage basic warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Knowledge of inventory control practices and familiarity with warehouse management or ERP systems.
- Understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and basic quality control procedures.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Capacity to work in a physically active warehouse environment and follow safety protocols.
- Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain (preferably in food or FMCG) is an advantage.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, operations, or a related field is preferred.
