Video Editor / Graphic Designer – Sevenmen Media | Zevenstone
Location: Chennai, On-site
Experience: 1 to 3 years
Zevenstone is looking for a creative and fast-paced Video Editor / Graphic Designer who can produce high-quality political, media, news, and entertainment content for YouTube, social media, and campaign projects. The ideal candidate should understand public sentiment, trending formats, and how to present stories visually in a news-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Video Editing
- Edit videos for political content, news-style segments, interviews, entertainment shows, and opinion-based videos
- Produce reels, shorts, promos, teasers, and long-form edits
- Add motion graphics, lower thirds, transitions, subtitles, and overlays
- Work with scripts, voice-overs, and B-roll to create engaging narratives
- Handle color correction, audio cleanup, pacing, and storytelling
- Adapt edits for different platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook
Graphic Design
- Create posters, thumbnails, social media creatives, and campaign graphics
- Design political content, awareness creatives, announcement visuals, and news templates
- Work on entertainment-style posters, event creatives, and promo graphics
- Build consistent brand layouts for recurring shows or series
- Prepare visual assets for video production such as frames, transitions, titles, and icons
Skills Required
- Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Basic knowledge of After Effects for motion graphics is preferred
- Prior work experience in media houses or news channels (Sun News or similar regional/national news networks) is important
- Understanding of political narratives, media language, and news-style presentation
- Strong eye for thumbnails, posters, and high-impact visuals
- Knowledge of social media content formats and current trends
- Good sense of timing, pacing, color, and storytelling
- Ability to work under tight timelines and high-volume content cycles
- Clear communication and strong team collaboration skills
Bonus Skills (Good to Have)
- Tamil voice-over or clear voice modulation
- On-field shooting experience
- Basic YouTube SEO knowledge
- Experience in entertainment promo or campaign editing
- Ability to create reusable templates for political or news formats
