Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Video Editor role based in Patna. The Junior Video Editor will assist in editing educational video content, including lectures, explainer videos, and short concept-based clips, following brand guidelines and academic objectives. Responsibilities include cutting and assembling raw footage, adding basic graphics or motion elements, syncing audio, and applying color adjustments to ensure visual consistency. The role involves collaborating closely with senior editors, content creators, and subject matter experts to maintain accuracy and clarity. The Junior Video Editor will also help organize media assets, export final files in required formats, and support continuous improvements to video quality and production workflows.
Qualifications
- Foundational skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including handling raw footage and assembling coherent, engaging narratives.
- Ability to perform basic to intermediate Video Color Grading to ensure consistent and appealing visuals.
- Experience or familiarity with Motion Graphics and Graphics for titles, lower thirds, and simple visual explanations.
- Proficiency with common editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and basic audio cleanup.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
- Willingness to learn from feedback, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and grow into more advanced editing responsibilities.
- Diploma or degree in Film, Media, Animation, Communication, or related field is preferred; relevant project work or portfolio is highly valued.
- Interest in education and creating clear, student-friendly video content is a strong advantage.
