Junior Video Editor – Artmonks
Job Title: Junior Video Editor
Experience: 0–2 Years
Location: Bangalore (Work from Office)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Edit videos for social media, corporate films, ads, reels, and promotional content.
- Assemble raw footage into engaging and high-quality videos.
- Sync audio, add music, sound effects, graphics, and basic motion elements.
- Perform basic color correction and audio balancing.
- Create subtitles and social media versions in different aspect ratios.
- Organize project files and maintain proper folder structures.
- Work closely with producers, directors, and senior editors to meet project requirements.
- Deliver projects within deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Requirements
- 0–2 years of experience in video editing (Freshers with a strong portfolio are welcome).
- Good knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Basic understanding of Adobe After Effects.
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is an added advantage.
- Understanding of storytelling, pacing, and editing techniques.
- Knowledge of social media content formats and trends.
- Ability to take feedback positively and implement revisions quickly.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
- Basic color grading knowledge.
- Basic motion graphics skills.
- Understanding of different video codecs and export settings.
- Experience editing YouTube, Instagram Reels, and LinkedIn content.
- Strong attention to detail.
