We are hiring for a passionate and detail-oriented Toxicologist (Fresher) to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, review, and submission of documents/reports and ensure adherence to national and international standards for product approval and compliance. The role offers a great opportunity for recent graduates in Pharmacy, B.Pharm/M.Pharm), Toxicology, Life Sciences, or related fields to begin their career in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Toxicological Data Analysis: Collect, compile and analyse toxicological data based on literature search from applicable database.
- Hazard Assessment: Perform comprehensive reviews of chemical hazard data and regulatory guidance to support risk assessment, ingredient safety evaluations, and scientific decision-making.
- Reporting & Compliance: Document experimental findings, draft safety evaluation reports, and adhere to laboratory safety and quality protocols.
- Review scientific publications and regulatory guidelines relevant to assigned projects:
Maintain accurate records and ensure data quality and confidentiality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project deliverables.
Perform other scientific and administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Toxicology, Pharmacology (B.Pharm/M.Pharm), and Life sciences.
- Technical Knowledge: Analyse and study of toxicology reports, understanding of toxicological principles, risk assessment, and documentation.
- Analytical Skills: Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to interpret scientific data.
- Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have):
- Knowledge of ICH, WHO, CDSCO, USFDA, and EU regulatory guidelines.
- Familiarity with CTD/eCTD documentation format.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Understanding of Good Documentation Practice (GDP).
