Role Description
This is a full-time remote position for a Junior System Administrator. In this role, you will provide technical support, manage system and network administration tasks, and ensure the reliability and security of IT infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving technical issues, maintaining system performance, and assisting with the installation, configuration, and management of hardware and software. You will collaborate with internal teams to maintain operational continuity while troubleshooting problems and implementing solutions effectively.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in System Administration and Network Administration tasks, including configuring and maintaining servers, networks, and infrastructure.
- Experience with IT Troubleshooting and providing Technical Support to resolve hardware and software issues.
- Strong foundational knowledge of Information Technology systems and best practices.
- Ability to identify and resolve system performance issues promptly and proactively.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, cybersecurity protocols, or scripting languages is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred but not required with equivalent work experience.
