Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Junior SolidWorks Design Engineer specializing in sheet metal, based in Cherthala. The role involves creating detailed 3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks, supporting the development of new product designs, and collaborating with the engineering team to refine and optimize designs for manufacturability. The engineer will also evaluate and modify designs according to performance, functional, and safety requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Design Engineering and Product Design
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools
- Foundation in Mechanical Engineering and familiarity with Electrical Engineering concepts
- Ability to troubleshoot and identify improvements in product designs
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Previous experience with sheet metal design and manufacturing processes is a plus
- Atleast 2 years of experience in Sheetmetal industry.
- Candidates with more than 4 years of experience need not apply.
