Overview
We are looking for a motivated and technically strong Junior Software Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with solid foundational skills in backend development, hands-on experience in modern technologies, and exposure to both greenfield and enterprise-level projects. You will work closely with senior engineers to build scalable, high-quality applications while continuing to grow your technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain web applications using .NET Core.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Contribute to the development of scalable and high-performance backend systems.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
Work with databases such as PostgreSQL or MS SQL Server to design schemas, write queries, and optimize performance.
Assist in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues.
Participate in code reviews and actively incorporate feedback to improve code quality.
Develop and consume APIs and web services.
Support deployment and monitoring of applications in cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
Continuously learn and apply new technologies and industry best practices.
Required Skills (Non-Negotiables)
Strong experience in .NET Core (experience with legacy .NET Framework is a plus).
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns.
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or MS SQL Server.
Exposure to cloud platforms – preferably AWS (or Azure).
Familiarity with core AWS services such as S3, Lambda, EC2, and API Gateway.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Good to Have
Exposure to AI/ML concepts or projects (not mandatory).
Experience working on greenfield or enterprise applications.
Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
