Experience Required:
3 – 5 Years
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
Role Overview:
As a Junior Software Developer, you will be responsible for supporting our development team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Python development along with basic knowledge of Java. Exposure to CI/CD practices, AWS cloud services, and Robot Framework will be an added advantage. You will also have the opportunity to gain exposure to AI development initiatives as part of our future technology roadmap.
You will work closely with senior developers, QA, and DevOps teams to support application development, maintenance, troubleshooting, and deployment activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and support applications using Python
- Assist in developing and maintaining Java-based components
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues
- Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for feature development and support
- Support CI/CD pipeline implementation and deployment activities
- Work with AWS cloud environments for deployment and monitoring tasks
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code
- Contribute to technical documentation
- Perform API testing and validate backend systems and workflows
Required Skills:
- 3 – 5 years of software development experience
- Strong knowledge of Python
- Basic understanding of Java
- Understanding of REST APIs and web services
- Familiarity with Git/version control systems
- Basic understanding of SQL databases
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Skills (Added Advantage):
- Knowledge of Robot Framework for test automation
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
- Exposure to AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.)
- Knowledge of Docker or containerization
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
