Role Description
We are seeking a Junior Site Engineer for a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. The Junior Site Engineer will oversee daily site activities, ensure work quality compliance, and coordinate with various stakeholders, including contractors and suppliers. Responsibilities include supervising site operations, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, monitoring structural engineering plans, and assisting senior engineers with project execution. Additionally, the role involves effective communication to provide updates and resolve site-related challenges.
Qualifications
- Experience in on-site supervision and management of construction or fit-out projects
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members, clients, and contractors
- Knowledge of quality control practices to ensure project standards and compliance
- Understanding of structural engineering principles and techniques
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project) is an advantage
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic project environment
- We are looking for 1-3 years experience. Salary budget is between 20-30k only. Apply only if you fall into this bracket.
- You will be deputed to 2-3 interior sites in Chennai.
