Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Service Engineer based in Chennai. In this position, the Junior Service Engineer will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, providing excellent field service, and offering technical support to clients. Day-to-day tasks also include equipment maintenance, repairs, and ensuring the smooth functioning of industrial machinery. The role requires interaction with clients and collaboration with a skilled team to deliver exceptional service solutions.
Qualifications
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues effectively
- Experience in field service and maintenance, including hands-on repair work and operational inspections is an advantage
- Proficiency in providing technical support and guidance to clients
- Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with clients and internal teams
- Aptitude for quick learning of technical specifications and an eagerness to stay updated with advancements in industrial equipment technologies
- Willingness to travel locally and internationally, as required, to provide service support
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical with above 8 CGPA
- Prior experience with industrial equipment in the tyre or plastics industry is an advantage
