About the RoleWe are looking for a Junior SEO Executive with a strong foundation in traditional SEO and an interest in the evolving GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) landscape.
The candidate will work on improving website visibility, organic traffic, search rankings, and content performance across traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered search platforms.
Key ResponsibilitiesSEO- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Optimize website content, meta titles, descriptions, headings, and internal linking.
- Assist with technical SEO audits and implementation of recommendations.
- Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, and website performance.
- Support on-page and off-page SEO activities.
- Prepare SEO content briefs and optimization recommendations.
- Monitor and report SEO performance using relevant tools.
GEO & AEO- Learn and implement basic GEO strategies for AI search platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews.
- Optimize content for AI-generated answers, citations, and brand visibility.
- Create FAQ and answer-focused content.
- Optimize content for featured snippets, People Also Ask, and voice search.
- Support entity-based content and topical authority strategies.
- Assist with schema markup and structured data implementation.
Required Skills- 1–2 years of practical SEO experience.
- Good understanding of on-page, off-page, and basic technical SEO.
- Knowledge of Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4.
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, or similar platforms.
- Good understanding of keyword research and search intent.
- Basic understanding of AI search, GEO, and AEO.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
Preferred Skills- Familiarity with ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, or similar AI tools.
- Basic knowledge of schema markup and structured data.
- Familiarity with WordPress, Shopify, or other CMS platforms.
- Understanding of E-E-A-T, semantic SEO, and topical authority.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Knowledge of AI-assisted content creation and optimization.
