Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior School Head, based in Ludhiana. The Junior School Head will oversee the academic, administrative, and extracurricular activities of the junior school section, ensuring a balanced and nurturing educational environment. Responsibilities include curriculum planning, teacher mentorship, student development, parent engagement, and ensuring alignment with the institution’s vision. The role also requires collaboration with the senior leadership team to implement best practices and uphold the values and standards of Mahapragya Gurukul.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and team management abilities
- Proficiency in curriculum development, academic planning, and pedagogical strategies
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills
- Commitment to creating an inclusive environment that supports diverse learning needs
- Experience in facilitating experiential learning, arts, sports, or community engagement activities
- Familiarity with modern educational practices integrated with traditional values is an advantage
- A degree in Education, Administration, or a related discipline; advanced degrees in education are a plus
- A minimum of 5 years of teaching or educational leadership experience, preferably in early or primary education
