Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for a Junior Safety Incharge – Construction. The role involves overseeing on-site safety practices, conducting safety inspections, and ensuring compliance with all construction safety regulations. The Junior Safety Incharge will coordinate safety training sessions, assist in implementing safety protocols, and effectively communicate safety requirements to the workforce. Maintaining safety documentation and collaborating with teams to resolve safety hazards are also key responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Supervisory Skills and Site Supervision to ensure safety standards are met on construction sites
- Strong Communication skills to effectively convey safety guidelines and instructions
- Experience in Inspection and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols
- Background in Construction Safety with knowledge of industry standards and best practices
- Ability to identify and address safety risks and hazards effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and reporting skills
- Certification in occupational health and safety, or a relevant field, is preferred
- Familiarity with local construction and safety regulations in Mumbai is an advantage
