Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Junior Resident position located in Kochi, Kerala. The role involves managing and treating patients under the supervision of senior consultants across various departments. Daily responsibilities include conducting patient rounds, assisting in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, maintaining timely clinical records, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standards of patient care. Providing emergency care, monitoring patient progress, and communicating effectively with patients and their families are also integral to this role.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical knowledge in General Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and related specialities
- Skills in patient assessment, diagnosis, and medical management
- Proficiency in documentation, record-keeping, and managing electronic medical records
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure clinical environment
- Relevant medical degree (MBBS) and valid license to practice medicine
- Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and training
