Role Description
As a Junior Researcher, you will work full-time on-site at GITAM Deemed University's Bengaluru campus with Dr. Sreemanta Mitra at the Physics of Electronic Quantum Matter Lab. Your responsibilities include conducting literature reviews, collecting and analyzing data, and contributing to the preparation of research papers and reports. You will work closely with faculty and research teams to design and execute experiments, ensure data accuracy, and facilitate collaborations. You will also assist with managing project timelines, communicating findings effectively, and supporting funding proposals and grant-writing activities.
Qualifications
- Skills in Research Design, Data Collection, and Data Analysis
- Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary research environment
- Master’s degree (55% and above) in Physics or Nanotechnology or Materials Science
- Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in research or academia
- Previous research experience or internships are advantageous
- Knowledge in research-related compliance and ethics is a plus
