Role Description

As a Junior Research Intern in AI, IoT & Embedded Systems, you will support research and development efforts in artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), and embedded systems. Your responsibilities will include conducting experiments, building prototypes, writing research documentation, and assisting in technology validation studies. You will collaborate with senior researchers and engineers to explore innovative solutions and contribute to the development of scalable applications. This is a Part-time, Hybrid role based in Tamil Nadu.


Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in AI and machine learning, with knowledge of designing and implementing AI models and algorithms
  • Proficiency in IoT concepts and technologies, including IoT device integration, sensors, and communication protocols
  • Experience in embedded systems with skills in microcontrollers, firmware development, and hardware-software interfacing
  • Programming and software development skills, especially Python, C/C++, or other relevant languages
  • Familiarity with data analysis, systems design, and simulation tools
  • Problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaboration skills for multidisciplinary research
  • Bachelor's degree (or ongoing studies) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related fields
  • Experience with AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), and understanding of communication standards (e.g., MQTT, ZigBee) are advantages
  • Ability to learn quickly, stay organized, and adapt in a dynamic research environment
