🚨 Hiring: JRF/SRF Position at Plaksha University
We are looking for highly motivated candidates to join our research group at Plaksha University, Mohali under an ANRF-funded research project.
🔬 Research Area:
Two-dimensional (2D) Transition Metal Dichalcogenide (TMDC) materials for next-generation photodetectors and optoelectronic devices.
📌 Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
📍 Location: Plaksha University, Mohali, Punjab, India
💰 Funding Agency: Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF)
📖 Desired Background:
- M.Sc./M.Tech. in Physics, Materials Science, Nanotechnology, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines
- Strong interest in 2D materials, nanofabrication, optoelectronic devices, and photodetectors
- Experience in device fabrication, characterization, or 2D material synthesis will be an advantage
🧪 Research Focus:
- Synthesis and engineering of 2D TMDC materials
- Fabrication of high-performance photodetectors
- Investigation of charge transport and photoresponse mechanisms in 2D heterostructures
