About the Role
We are looking for an adaptable, driven, and well-rounded Research Analyst with 1-2 years of experience to join our expanding team. As a Junior Research Analyst, you will support client service delivery across multiple research projects primarily related to Impact and Non-Profits while leveraging cutting-edge digital technologies and AI tools.
This role is ideal for a dedicated researcher who is highly comfortable embracing new digital tools, curious about AI, and eager to leverage technology to enhance traditional research methods. While prior exposure to AI tools is a plus, we are fully committed to training the right candidate on prompt engineering, agentic AI workflows, and practical AI application. This role is perfect for someone eager to make a meaningful impact for a better world.
What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
In this role, you will:
- Conduct thorough qualitative and quantitative research to support client projects in the Non-Profit and Impact space.
- Understand the pain points of non-profits and translate them into structured research problems and practical solutions.
- Learn and apply modern digital technologies and AI workflows to augment your research, synthesis, and daily work (training provided).
- Assist in testing and giving feedback on AI-assisted workflows to ensure high-quality research outputs.
- Work independently while also collaborating across teams when needed.
What We're Looking For (Key Requirements)
Must-Have
- Exceptional core research skills (both qualitative and quantitative).
- Strong critical and analytical thinking – able to ask sharp questions, flag gaps, synthesize complex information, and maintain high attention to detail.
- High tech-comfort and digital fluency – a strong enthusiasm for adopting new digital tools, AI software, and modern productivity tech into your daily research workflow.
- Good knowledge of or strong passion for the Non-Profit / Impact space.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- A fast learner with a strong growth mindset, eager to be trained in advanced AI techniques (e.g., prompt engineering, agentic AI).
- Self-organized, proactive, and able to work independently.
Good to Have
- Familiarity or casual hands-on experience using consumer AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity).
- Cross-functional collaboration (comfortable working alongside research, tech, marketing, and management teams).
- Previous experience in client communication or client management.
- Basic familiarity with data visualization or digital presentation tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a research-heavy discipline, Social/Environmental Sciences, Development Studies, Economics, Business, or related field.
- 1–2 years of hands-on work experience in research, analytical, or consulting role.
- Should be comfortable working remotely and using Microsoft 365 tools.
Why Join Us?
