Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Research Analyst role based in Mumbai. The Junior Research Analyst will support senior analysts by conducting market and sector research, gathering and analyzing financial and economic data, and preparing concise reports and presentations. Daily tasks include tracking market trends, monitoring key economic indicators, assisting in the evaluation of investment products, and contributing to internal research notes. The role also involves collaborating with team members to validate data, maintain research databases, and communicate findings that support investment decisions and client strategies.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and a solid understanding of Statistics to interpret data and draw meaningful insights.
- Candidates should possess Market Research and Research skills to gather, evaluate, and synthesize information from multiple sources.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to present findings clearly in written reports and verbal discussions.
- Relevant academic background in Finance, Economics, Business, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic data analysis tools; familiarity with financial databases or market terminals is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong time-management skills.
- Interest in capital markets, investment products, and wealth management; prior internship or exposure in financial services is a plus.
