Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Recruiter based in Chennai. The Junior Recruiter will support the recruitment lifecycle, including posting job openings, sourcing potential candidates, conducting preliminary screening, scheduling interviews, and maintaining candidate databases. The role also involves collaborating with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and assisting with onboarding processes for new hires. The Junior Recruiter will ensure a seamless hiring process and contribute to building a talented workforce that aligns with organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Talent sourcing and candidate screening skills, including familiarity with job boards, recruitment platforms, and social media recruiting
- Ability to manage interview scheduling and support onboarding processes
- Knowledge of human resources principles and recruiting best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with candidates and hiring managers
- Attention to detail, time management, and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in recruitment or human resources is an advantage, but not mandatory
