Job Description: Junior React Frontend Developer
- Role: Junior React Frontend Developer
- Location: Hybrid (Bangalore)
- Experience: 0-6 months (Freshers with strong academic projects or internships are encouraged to apply)
Position Overview:
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Junior React JS Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of JavaScript, React.js, front-end development best practices and emerging AI technologies. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or candidates with up to six months of experience to grow their skills and contribute to exciting projects in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using React JS.
· Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, reusable code
· Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
· Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
· Optimize components for maximum performance across devices and browsers
· Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs
· Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and product managers to define, design, and ship new features.
· Debug and fix front-end issues and improve application performance
· Follow coding standards, best practices, and version control processes
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the team’s knowledge base.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our products remain cutting-edge.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· 0 – 6 months of professional experience in frontend development
· Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
· Hands-on experience with React.js and React Hooks
· Familiarity with state management (Redux, Context API, or similar)
· Experience working with REST APIs and JSON
· Knowledge of Git and version control workflows
· Basic understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
· Good problem-solving and communication skills
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Good to Have:
· Any internship or project experience in web and mobile application development.
· Familiarity with TypeScript, React Native, and Next.js.
· Basic understanding of front-end build tools, testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library), and UI frameworks such as Material UI, Ant Design, or Bootstrap.
· Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
· Exposure to AI/ML concepts through coursework, internships, certifications, or personal projects.
· Familiarity with Generative AI tools and APIs such as OpenAI, Gemini, or similar LLM-based services is an advantage.
· Basic understanding of prompt engineering and AI-powered frontend experiences, such as chatbots or intelligent assistants, is desirable.
· Strong interest in learning and working with emerging AI technologies and frameworks.
