Job Title: Junior Quantity Surveyor – MEP
Department: QS & Planning
Reporting To: Senior QS / Manager – QS & Planning
Experience Required: 0–3 Years
Qualification: B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Location: Manikonda, Hyderabad.
Key Responsibilities
Quantity Take-offs & Estimation Support
- Assist in preparation of MEP quantity take-offs from drawings.
- Support development of Bill of Quantities (BOQs).
- Verify quantities as per approved drawings and site execution.
- Maintain quantity tracking sheets for project monitoring.
Billing & Measurement Verification
- Verify contractor measurement sheets with reference to drawings and site progress.
- Assist in preparation and checking of Running Account (RA) bills.
- Support reconciliation of executed quantities with billed quantities.
- Maintain measurement records and supporting documentation.
Material Monitoring & Cost Tracking
- Track consumption of major MEP materials at site.
- Support preparation of material reconciliation statements.
- Assist in identifying quantity deviations and variations.
- Maintain cost tracking records for MEP works.
Documentation & Coordination
- Maintain QS-related documentation and reports.
- Coordinate with site execution teams for measurement validation.
- Support senior QS in preparing progress reports.
- Ensure proper filing of drawings, BOQs, and billing records.
Required Skills & Competencies:
• Basic understanding of MEP drawings & BOQs
• Knowledge of measurement verification and billing support
• Working knowledge of MS Excel
• Basic AutoCAD drawing interpretation
• Good coordination and documentation skills
