Role Overview
As a Junior Python Developer, you will work closely with our engineering and AI teams to build backend services, APIs, and real-time systems that power AI-driven applications. The role requires strong fundamentals in Python development and familiarity with modern backend technologies and databases.
You will contribute to building scalable systems that support AI agents, automation pipelines, and enterprise-grade applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using Python and FastAPI.
- Build and manage RESTful APIs for internal systems and AI-powered applications.
- Implement real-time communication features using WebSockets.
- Work with databases such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL for data storage and retrieval.
- Utilize Redis for caching, queues, and performance optimization.
- Use Docker to containerize services and maintain consistent development environments.
- Collaborate using Git-based workflows for version control and code reviews.
- Assist in integrating AI-driven features, including generative AI workflows and agent-based systems.
- Collaborate with product, AI, and engineering teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in debugging, testing, and performance improvements of backend systems.
Required Skills
- 1+ year of experience in Python development.
- Strong understanding of Python and backend development fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with FastAPI or similar Python web frameworks.
- Experience implementing WebSocket-based real-time communication.
- Experience working with MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Redis for caching, queues, or messaging systems.
- Experience with Docker for containerization.
- Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Good understanding of REST APIs and microservice architecture.
- Basic understanding of AI concepts, including generative AI and agent-based systems.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to LLMs, prompt engineering, or AI frameworks.
- Familiarity with async programming in Python.
- Understanding of vector databases or RAG pipelines.
- Experience working on AI or automation-related projects.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
