JobPly is an AI-powered platform designed to streamline and automate the job application process. Through a Chrome extension and web dashboard, JobPly helps users optimize resumes, automate repetitive workflows, and improve their chances of landing interviews.
We are building a robust backend system that processes and structures large volumes of job-related data to power intelligent automation and matching.
Role Description:
This is a remote, paid role for a Junior Python Developer focused on building and maintaining backend data systems.
You will work on developing reliable data ingestion pipelines that collect, process, and organize job-related data from external sources. This role is critical to ensuring the quality, scalability, and performance of JobPly’s core infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain data ingestion and processing pipelines
- Work with structured and semi-structured data (APIs, JSON, etc.)
- Clean, normalize, and store data for downstream applications
- Build backend services to support data workflows
- Monitor system performance and improve reliability
- Debug and resolve data-related issues in production systems
Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Understanding of backend development fundamentals
- Experience working with APIs and data processing workflows
- Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar)
- Knowledge of ETL/data pipeline concepts
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Nice to Have:
- Experience with tools like BeautifulSoup, Playwright, or similar frameworks
- Familiarity with asynchronous programming in Python
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) or Docker
- Interest in data systems, automation, or scalable backend infrastructure
Role Details:
- Location: Remote (India)
- Type: Full-time / Contract
- Compensation: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000/month (based on experience)
- Experience Level: Junior (0–2 years)
