Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Purchase Executive located in Bengaluru. The Junior Purchase Executive will be responsible for managing procurement activities, including sourcing and purchasing materials, goods, and services. They will maintain vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, evaluate suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of required items. The role also involves monitoring inventory levels, preparing purchase orders, and maintaining accurate records.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of sourcing, procurement processes, and vendor management
- Ability to negotiate effectively and manage supplier relationships
- Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills
- Familiarity with inventory management and purchasing software or tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in the aerospace, defense, or manufacturing sectors is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
