Role Description The Junior PEB Industrial Project (Mechanical Engineer) role at Nexfore Consulting is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The individual in this role will support the design and execution of pre-engineered building (PEB) and industrial projects, assisting senior engineers in mechanical design, layout development, and technical documentation. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing CAD drawings, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that project specifications align with safety, quality, and productivity standards. The role also involves participating in site visits, collecting technical data, and contributing to project reports, while supporting continuous improvement and adherence to client requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with understanding of industrial systems and structural components.
- Ability to apply Machine Design principles to PEB and industrial project requirements.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating and modifying mechanical and structural drawings.
- Basic Project Management skills, including task coordination, scheduling support, and documentation.
- Interest and aptitude in Research and Development (R&D) for improving designs, processes, and safety practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to interpret technical standards and codes.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
- Willingness to work at industrial project locations in Mumbai and adhere to safety protocols.
