Position: Junior Payroll Manager
Brainware University is inviting applications for the position of Junior Payroll Manager.
Experience: 4–5 years
Qualification: Master’s degree preferred
Location: Brainware University, Barasat, Kolkata
Key Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing
- Experience in salary calculation, deductions, reimbursements, and payroll documentation
- Knowledge of statutory compliance
- Hands-on experience in PF, ESI, Professional Tax, TDS, and Income Tax matters
- Experience in tax filing and statutory return filing
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and payroll reports
- Ability to handle employee payroll queries
- Coordination with HR, Finance, and Accounts departments
- Prior experience in an educational institution or large organization will be preferred
Skills Required:
- Payroll processing and salary structuring
- Statutory compliance management
- PF, ESI, PT, TDS, and Income Tax knowledge
- Tax filing and return filing
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Payroll software/HRMS handling
- Data accuracy and confidentiality
- Compliance documentation and audit support
- Employee query handling
- Strong Coordination ability
