Role Description This full-time remote Junior Motion Designer / Video Editor role involves creating and editing engaging motion graphics and video content for marketing campaigns and brand assets. The role includes collaborating with creative teams to interpret briefs, develop visual concepts, and contribute to storyboards for video and animation projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include producing short-form videos for digital platforms, preparing and organizing assets, maintaining consistent brand standards, and optimizing content for various formats and channels. The Junior Motion Designer / Video Editor also supports the refinement of visual narratives, incorporates feedback from stakeholders, and stays informed about emerging design and video trends. This role offers the opportunity to grow skills while contributing to high-quality, relationship-driven creative work.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Design and Motion Graphics for digital and social media content.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Production, including basic filming, video editing, and asset organization.
- Candidates should possess skills in Animation, with the ability to create smooth transitions, visual effects, and dynamic sequences.
- Candidates should possess skills in Storyboarding to translate concepts and scripts into clear visual narratives.
- Proficiency in industry-standard tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software).
- Strong visual storytelling, attention to detail, and an eye for typography, color, and composition.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage deadlines, and adapt to feedback.
- Portfolio demonstrating motion design and video editing work; prior agency or marketing experience is a plus.
- Foundational understanding of digital marketing and social media content formats is beneficial.
