Junior Motion Designer & Video Editor Full Time

About the role
We are hiring a junior motion designer and video editor to own
every video and motion asset we ship — product launch films,
in-app motion, social cuts, app store videos, and brand work.
You will work directly with the founder on every brief.
Responsibilities
— Edit short-form product films (15 to 60 seconds)
— Design motion graphics for in-app moments and brand content
— Cut social-first videos for Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok,
and YouTube Shorts
— Deliver in vertical, square, and horizontal formats
— Build and maintain a library of brand motion templates
— Create App Store preview videos and landing page hero films
— Ship 3 to 6 polished videos per week
— Use AI tools to accelerate production without compromising quality
Required skills
— 1 to 3 years of experience in motion design and video editing
— Strong working knowledge of After Effects and Premiere Pro
or Final Cut Pro
— Solid sound design instincts
— Comfortable with Figma for UI element extraction and animation
— Hands-on experience with at least 3 of these AI tools:
Higgsfield, Runway, ElevenLabs, Descript, Veo, CapCut AI, Pika
— Understanding of pacing, typography, and visual hierarchy
— Ability to take a brief and turn it around within 48 hours
— Comfortable working with feedback and iterating quickly
Portfolio requirements
Please share work that includes:
— At least one product film or app launch video
— At least one piece of motion graphics work
— At least one example of social-first short-form content
— At least one example of work where you used AI tools
in your workflow
We are not looking for wedding films, music videos,
or generic motion reels.
