We’re Hiring: Merchandiser – Home Decor (Execution & Vendor Ownership)
Buying the product is just step one.
Getting it to land perfectly — on time, in full, and sell-ready — is where the real game is.
At Mason Home, we’re looking for a Merchandiser who owns everything after the PO is placed — from vendor follow-ups to warehouse arrival, all the way to making sure the product is ready to sell.
Job: Full Time:
Location: South Mumbai – Breach Candy, Onsite role
Days: Monday through Friday - WFO & Saturday WFH
Timings: 10:00AM - 7:00PM
What You’ll Own:
• Vendor management post order — timelines, production tracking, follow-ups
• Ensuring dispatches happen on time (and pushing when they don’t)
• Coordination with shipping partners — documentation, tracking, delays
• GRN (Goods Received) accuracy at warehouse
• Identifying damaged / defective goods and taking fast decisions:
– Return to vendor
– Repair / salvage
– Liquidate
• Ensuring products are sell-ready — correct tagging, barcoding, packaging
• Working closely with Ops to ensure smooth inwarding & storage
• Closing the loop with Buying team on vendor performance
What Winning Looks Like:
• Orders arriving on time, with minimal follow-ups from leadership
• Near-zero GRN discrepancies
• Fast resolution of damaged / defective goods
• Strong vendor accountability (they know you don’t let things slide)
• Clean handover to warehouse & online — no chaos, no delays
Who This Is For:
• 2–5 years in merchandising / sourcing / supply chain (home decor preferred)
• Extremely detail-oriented — you catch issues before they become problems
• Strong at vendor management — you can push, negotiate, and get things done
• Process-driven — you like building systems, not firefighting daily
• High ownership mindset — you don’t wait to be told

• If you only enjoy product selection / creative side of merchandising
• If you’re okay with delays, excuses, or “it’s the vendor’s fault”
• If you struggle with follow-ups, coordination, and execution
