Role Description The Junior Merchandiser role at Khara Kapas is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurgaon. This role involves assisting with product planning, inventory management, and coordination between design, production, and retail teams. The Junior Merchandiser will help monitor sales performance, analyze customer preferences, and support visual merchandising and product display in-store. Daily tasks include tracking stock levels, preparing product reports, supporting promotional activities, and ensuring that merchandise aligns with brand standards and customer expectations. The role also requires close collaboration with team members to maintain an engaging and well-organized retail environment.
Job Description: Junior Merchandiser – Kharakapas
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Merchandiser to join the Kharakapas team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing the end-to-end merchandising processes, ensuring smooth coordination between production, design, and sales teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the senior merchandising team in planning and executing seasonal collections.
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and production teams to track order status and ensure timely deliveries.
Prepare and maintain purchase orders, sampling records, and production schedules.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in replenishment planning.
Conduct quality checks for samples and finished products to maintain brand standards.
Assist in market research and competitor analysis to support product development.
Communicate with internal teams to update on production timelines and resolve any issues.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Textile, Apparel Merchandising, or a related field.
0–2 years of experience in merchandising or a similar role, preferably in the fashion or lifestyle sector.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
