Loc: Camac Street(Kolkata H.O.)
CTC: Fresher candidates- 18-20k per month
CTC: Experienced candidates(2-3+ years)- 25-30k per month
Role Overview
The Junior Merchandiser will support the merchandising team in planning, coordinating, and
executing day-to-day merchandising activities. The role involves assisting in product selection,
vendor coordination, inventory management, and supporting the sales team with timely product
availability.
Key Responsibilities
● Assist in developing product assortments aligned with the brand’s vision and customer
preferences.
● Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and artisans for sourcing and timely delivery.
● Monitor stock levels, maintain product records, and ensure inventory accuracy.
● Support in preparing merchandising reports, sales analysis, and trend forecasting.
● Assist senior merchandiser in new collection launches and promotional activities.
● Ensure product displays and visual merchandising guidelines are maintained across
stores.
● Maintain strong communication with retail teams to understand customer feedback and
product performance.
● Track competitor products, pricing, and market trends to support decision-making.
Skills & Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Jewellery, Business, or related field.
● 0–2 years of experience in merchandising, retail, or jewellery industry (freshers with
strong interest can apply).
● Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
● Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with ERP or POS systems is a plus.
● Passion for jewellery, fashion trends, and customer experience.
● Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
