Job Title: Assistant Merchandiser – Apparel (Knits & Wovens)
Location: Andheri East, Mumbai
Department: Product Development
Experience: 0–2 Years (Freshers with relevant internships can apply)
CTC: Up to ₹4 LPA
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented
Assistant Merchandiser to manage end-to-end order execution from development to shipment. The role involves coordination with vendors, internal teams, and ensuring timely delivery with quality compliance.
Key Responsibilities Order Management
- Manage complete order lifecycle from development to final shipment
- Create and track Time & Action (T&A) calendars
- Monitor order progress and resolve delays proactively
- Maintain production files, approvals, and documentation
Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Follow up on fabric, trims, and accessories sourcing
- Address queries related to styles, specifications, and production
Production & Quality
- Support pre-production meetings with cross-functional teams
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and product specifications
- Review samples and provide feedback
Documentation & Systems
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Update order status in ERP systems
- Maintain accurate records of production and shipments
Shipping & Reporting
- Coordinate with logistics teams for timely dispatch
- Track order status and share regular updates
- Maintain data for cost tracking and vendor performance
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Technology / Apparel / Textile or related field
- 0–2 years of experience in apparel merchandising (internships considered)
- Understanding of garment production processes
- Knowledge of knits and woven fabrics
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems
- Proficiency in MS Excel
