Job Overview
We are seeking a highly capable Junior Mechanical Engineer to join our deep-tech hardware team. Whether you are a driven fresher or have prior industry experience, this role offers the opportunity to build complex, high-precision mechanical systems from the ground up. You will be directly involved in the end-to-end product development cycle, focusing heavily on CAD modeling, rigorous simulation, and overseeing the manufacturing of advanced metrology and positioning equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Core Design: Design and develop ultra-precision mechanical hardware, specifically focusing on vibration isolation tables and XY motion stages.
- CAD Modeling: Create detailed and accurate 3D CAD models, assemblies, and 2D engineering drawings for manufacturing.
- Simulation & Testing: Perform comprehensive mechanical simulations (FEA, structural, thermal, and dynamic analysis) to ensure designs meet strict sub-nanometer stability and precision requirements.
- Manufacturing Oversight: Manage the end-to-end manufacturing process of designed components. Coordinate with internal teams and external fabrication partners to ensure parts are machined to exact tolerances.
- Prototyping & Iteration: Assemble, test, and troubleshoot prototypes, refining designs based on real-world performance data.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: Freshers and experienced candidates are both encouraged to apply.
- Technical Tools: Strong proficiency in standard CAD modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360, AutoCAD) and mechanical simulation/FEA in ANSYS / COMSOL
- Basic knowledge: Measurement devices (strain/stress/acceleration/force/torque, etc.)
- Domain Knowledge: A solid understanding of manufacturing processes, material selection, and structural mechanics.
