Job Purpose
- Performing statutory compliances under Companies Act, 2013 and other corporate laws and conducting Board Meetings and General Meetings for entities as assigned in Energy Sector.
- Maintain statutory records under the Companies Act, Support in issue of shares, securities, other restructuring and fund-raising initiatives.
- Support in RBI and FEMA compliances.
- Continuous monitoring of operations / managerial actions and ensuring they are compliant of statutes and corporate agreements.
- Continuously undertaking necessary actions, to uphold and improve Corporate Governance Process of GMR Group (Energy Sector).
- Incorporation of Company under the Companies Act, striking off/winding up of entities, Assist in Audits and due diligence.
- Operation of Legatrix compliance tool, DESS board meeting platform.
- Liasioning and interacting with Directors, Auditors, consultant and other statutory authorities as per requirement.

FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS
As per the present statutes, the Company Secretary is a Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) for a company and the Corporates fulfilling the statutory limits shall appoint a Company Secretary without fail. These services cannot be availed from outside technical experts. In house executive is essential for operating Secretarial services. Hence Secretarial function is essentially operational / managerial function.
