Junior Event Producer — Booking & Live Events
Full-time | Louder Studio, Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi
About Louder
Louder is a live events and entertainment company promoting art, music, and culture. We work with artists, agents, venues, and brands to create memorable live experiences and build audiences for creative talent — with events, tours, and nightclub nights spanning India, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and other international markets. Our mission is to promote multicultural art and cultural exchange for audiences everywhere.
Role Overview
You'll identify, develop, and secure talent, and manage the relationships and logistics that turn a booking into a sold-out show — from first pitch through to post-event settlement. You'll maintain existing client relationships and act as the link between artists, agents, managers, venues, vendors, and our internal team throughout a show's lifecycle. Much of the role is research, budgeting, negotiation, selling, and building the systems and data that make each show better than the last — while contributing to Louder's programming across Australia, NZ, Singapore, India, and beyond, including our nightclub events. Comfort with AI tools across every function of the role is expected.
Key Responsibilities
Research & Talent
- Research markets, cities, and venues; map artists to the right audiences and evaluate profitability and market potential
- Track emerging talent, indie artists, and pop-culture trends worth booking
- Analyse international markets, audience presence, and other metrics to gauge opportunity
Booking & Deal-Making
- Pitch concepts and opportunities to artists, agents, and creative teams
- Support and follow up on artist negotiations — reviewing contract notes carefully and capturing negotiation details
- Secure venue availability and backup holds; negotiate booking terms with venues
- Coordinate and maintain key sales points and rider requirements for artists
- Book diverse, credible lineups aimed at maximising ticket sales
Touring & Show Planning
- Draft event business plans and marketing plans
- Build itineraries, routing plans, and touring strategies; develop and manage event calendars and capacities
- Build comprehensive event budgets, capacity plans, and financial projections
Financials & Admin
- Manage financial arrangements — deposits, settlements, expenditure tracking, and event P&Ls
- Follow up on third-party quotes and invoices; manage expense reports and contracts
- Build and maintain systems and templates that make booking, budgeting, and reporting repeatable across shows; run post-event evaluations to improve future events
Marketing, Ticketing & Sellouts
- Own the marketing for your shows end-to-end — announcements, campaigns, and promotion — to ensure every show sells out
- Sell TixMojo, our in-house ticketing platform, to event organisers
- Pitch tickets and sponsorship via call, email, and SMS/WhatsApp
- Identify and collaborate with influencers, promoters, and industry partners to help sell out shows
- Manage the full grant lifecycle — identifying and pitching for grants, writing proposals, winning them, and carrying them through execution, implementation, and reporting/feedback
Platform & Data
- Lead development of our AI-powered event management platform, working to automate event management work end-to-end
- Maintain and update our talent and market database city by city — tracking which shows, genres, and languages are performing well across all the markets we operate in, not just India
On-Site & Logistics
- Project-manage end-to-end logistics for your portfolio of events — staffing, technical/logistic suppliers, production, and venue operations
- Source quotes from vendors and suppliers, and provide on-site support during execution
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years' experience in live music/comedy booking, event production, venue booking, promoting, artist management, or client servicing (as a venue booker, agent, promoter, or promoter/agent assistant — gained professionally, independently, or through grassroots/DIY work)
- Experience across all aspects of producing a show — booking/buying, marketing, production, and settlement
- Ability to run a tour end-to-end: finding venues, routing, scheduling, and executing across a city or country
- Strong Excel skills and confidence building and tracking event budgets
- Working knowledge of lighting, sound, and AV as used in live events
- Wide knowledge of Indian and international artists, DJs, comedians, and entertainers, with genuine engagement in pop culture and emerging talent
- Comfortable selling and pitching a product or service to clients/organisers
- Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational and time-management skills; able to multitask and manage multiple projects and deadlines at once
- Comfortable working with data — understanding, building, and capturing data to track and improve outcomes
- Genuine interest in music, comedy, pop culture, and live entertainment
Some travel and work across international time zones may be required.
One More Thing
"It's not my job" isn't part of our vocabulary. We stuff envelopes; for a fake shaadi, we sourced every costume and element an Indian baraat needs, then found musicians in another country and briefed them on the songs and instruments so it went off seamlessly. We make mistakes, and learn from them.
