Position: Junior Advocate at Swastilegalalliance
Client Deployed For: NBFC Operations (Client Company)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent (On Firm's Payroll)
Location: Udyog Vihar Phase-III, Gurugram(WFO)
Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 06:30 PM 6 days/week
Experience Required: 1 – 3 Years
Remuneration: Rs35,000 per month
Reporting To: Senior Counsel
Job Purpose
The Junior Advocate will be a full-time employee on the payroll of Swastilegalalliance, dedicated entirely to managing the end-to-end legal operations, retail recoveries, and legal compliances for our NBFC client. The role requires day-to-day legal execution, drafting, and meticulous tracking of recovery and litigation data under the supervision of the Senior Counsel.
Key Responsibility Areas
1. Legal Drafting & Communication
-Draft precise replies to legal notices, consumer complaints, or counter-claims received by the client company.
-Prepare comprehensive case files, petitions, and application drafts specifically for Lok Adalat matters.
- Manage the dispatch of notices physically via post offices/courier services and electronically via email within strict deadlines.
2. Legal Operations & Data Management
-Maintain an end-to-end, error-free database/tracker of all legal notices dispatched, received, and pending actions for the client.
-Document and archive acknowledgment receipts, tracking IDs, and delivery statuses of all postal and email dispatches.
-Track the status of active cases, upcoming hearing dates, and Lok Adalat schedules, ensuring no deadlines are missed.
3. Court Assistance & Appearance
-Assist the Senior Counsel in the drafting, formatting, and structural preparation of court petitions, written statements, and affidavits.
-Handle the physical and electronic filing of cases/matters before relevant courts, tribunals, or dispute resolution forums in Gurugram.
- Represent the firm and the client by appearing before local courts, consumer forums, or Lok Adalats as and when directed by the Senior Counsel.
4. Client Compliance & Follow-ups
-Execute daily follow-ups on dispatched legal notices and coordinate with the client’s in-house recovery teams.
-Assist in maintaining daily legal compliances required for an NBFC setup.
-Conduct legal research on Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines, digital lending regulations, and debt recovery laws to support the senior legal team.
Mandatory Qualifications & Skills
- Bar Enrollment: Must be actively enrolled with the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana (Gurugram Bar Association preferred).
-Experience: 1–3 years of core legal experience (handling debt recovery, consumer disputes, or NBFC/Banking litigation is highly preferred).
-Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and email management tools for data tracking.
