Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Interior Designer based in Chennai. The Junior Interior Designer will assist in planning and executing interior design projects, including creating construction drawings, space planning, and collaborating on design concepts. The role will involve selecting furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), and working closely with clients and project teams to bring designs to completion. The designer will also ensure that client requirements are met while maintaining design integrity and functionality.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Space Planning and Interior Design
- Proficiency in Construction Drawings and Architectural principles
- Knowledge of Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E)
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and design problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in design-related software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Knowledge of materials, finishes, and industry standards is an advantage
